One of the mistakes speakers unwittingly make is “giving too much information” during their talk which makes it really hard for their audience to listen. They become overwhelmed with the amount of information and content coming their way and so often tune a speaker out.
Many speakers as well we find, struggle sometimes in knowing what to put in a talk and what to leave out. What should they be talking about?. Which angle to take?
Our head of Speaker Coaching, Mary Tillson, in a half day 121 session with you will explore all your possible content with you, to get a good feeling for your expertise and messages.
She will then share two practical tools with you
a) Critical Questions- which is a brilliant scoping tool to help establish what a client really needs thus enabling you to adapt your talk to their needs. This also increases your personal gravitas with a prospective client!
b) WOMBAT – which is brilliant for structuring your talk based on the results of your scoping and ensures it is relevant, memorable and makes it easy for your audience. A winner!.
Once you have fully developed your talk using the above techniques, she will provide feedback and healthy challenge as relevant.
This can all be done via Zoom or similar or face to face if logistically viable.
